Cycle Hire Terms & Conditions
1 Must obey road traffic signs, signals and Lights.
2 Must remain seated at all times while on the cycle.
3 It is illegal to take alcohol or drugs while in control of the cycle.
4 All participants must wear a Hi-Visability waistcoat that is provided.
5 No smoking is allowed while on the cycles.
6 Do not cycle up or down footpaths.
7 Do not leave the cycle unattended while in your care.
8 Do not allow anyone to stand on the frame work.
9 Do not obstruct Emergency Exits or Pedestrians.
10 Please use hand signals when turning.
11 Always remember Mirror, Hand Signal and Manoeuvre.
12 Always take your time and give other road users plenty of notice of your intention.
13 No persons under the age of 16 allowed out on their own must be accompanied by adult.
14 The company does not accept liability for loss or damage to personal goods.
15 Be sure that no laces or trousers bottoms will get caught around the chain or pedals.
16 Do not cycle into one way streets the wrong way.
17 Use bus lanes where provided and allowed to do so, unless turning right.
18 Caution watch out for motorists opening their doors in front of you.
19 Any minor accidents must be reported on the return of the bike.
20 Any major accident must be reported right away.
21 In the event of an Emergency Call 999 Police, Ambulance and Fire Brigade.
22 In an Emergency always contact the company on 07831 336950 or (028) 94 421 954.
23 Cycles returned more than 10 minutes late; you will be liable for an additional 1 hours
hire. Always try to be back on time as you will be holding up other customers.
24 In the event that you would like to stay out longer you must contact the office to see if it is possible to stay out otherwise the Police will be contacted because the cycle has not been returned.
25 All cycles are tracked by satellite.
26 Customers are liable for any damage caused through neglect while in their care.
27 Failure to report any accident will result in prosecution.
28 No animals or pets allowed at any time.
29 Photographic ID is required by one of the participants wishing to hire a Cycle, the person who uses their ID will be the person responsible for the hire of the Cycle and all activities while in their care.
30 Tourists will have to give details of were they are staying.
31 Contact telephone numbers will be required from all hirers.
